What is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) is the process of performing a notarial act in a fully digital capacity and notarizing a document so it's back in the signer's hand instantly.
RON is essentially being able to notarize a document for someone over the internet, using an audio-visual technology called a RON platform.
You, as the notary public, can be in your home providing the notarization service to your customer who is in their home or preferred location.
